Guanacaste North Pacific Surf Spots

On the shore there is a right wave for beginners, it is not recommened to go closer to the river because there are very dangerous currents there. The wave that is behind this first beginner wave is called “El Bajo de La Trancas” breaking from side to side with long rights and lefts, it is better to not finish the wave completely as the strong currents can carry you to the side of the park – you must take care of the limits and not run into the left from the park.
Access: by land.
Tide: works in high tide.
Swell: South-Southeast.
Depth: Rocks.
Feet: 1 to 7.
Season: winter and with lunar movement, almost all year.
